What you will do-

Primary Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Be the responsible SME for DevOps for the division and guide teams to define the best practices for projects.
  • Define the pathways for CI/CD, automated testing, security testing strategy, identifying the appropriate tools and partners to support these activities  
  • Work with the administrative teams to manage and maintain the necessary software development tooling including configuration management systems, defect tracking systems necessary to support these activities
  • Partner with the R&D teams to drive rapid release management with agile development best practices
  • Build automated testing, release schedules and deployment strategies to support the DevOps practices
  • Work with software tools such as Configuration Management tools (Perforce/GitHub), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), Defect Tracking tools (Jira)
  • Technical skills to leverage include C/C++, Qt, Linux, Python
  • May be assigned to the engineering efforts of a specific product or product line.
  • May coordinate the activities of 1 or more employees.

What you need-

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • B.S. in Sofware Engineering (or equivalent) 
  • 2-4+ years related experience
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and developing build automation pipelines, software release schedules, software tools and administrative processes with DevOps
  • Demonstrated ability to plan software projects, provide estimates based on design and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver results. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in medical device or other highly regulated industries 
  • Experience or exposure to compliance regulations around data privacy (HIPAA/HITRUST), security standards 
  • Experience or exposure to healthcare imagining technologies
  • Experience or exposure to data science
