What you will DO:

Be a design engineer in one of the most successful divisions of Stryker.  Be part of a cross-functional team that produces electromechanical devices to enhance the surgical environment for surgeons and healthcare providers.  Be responsible for creation to manufacturing of your design, this will include CAD modeling, prototyping, and proving your design through testing. 

Design and launch medical devices that make an impact in healthcare.  Specifically, this team member will work on providing solutions to enhance the environment for surgeons and healthcare providers. 

What you NEED:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Working knowledge of 3D modelling software.
  • Versatility, flexibility, ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills; ability to describe issues, plans and objectives.
  • Preferred technical competencies and experience:
    • Medical device design experience or experience in another regulated industry
    • Experience with design of plastic components
    • Experience using PRO-E software
