Position Summary

The purpose of this role is to support designing, building and deploying best practice portfolio and demand planning processes and systems across all franchises. The role will support in building our demand planning capabilities to create a world class supply chain function for Stryker. The role’s purpose is ultimately to improve customer service by building demand processes that support our end customers’ requirements.

Key Areas of Responsibility ​

  • Design, build and deploy best in class portfolio and demand planning processes across Stryker Franchises and Divisions
  • Support the further development of our capabilities in portfolio and demand management
  • Communicate and track progress of our capability implementation
  • Support standardizing KPIs and Reports
  • Work cross functionally as required across full COE organisation
  • Support developing, building and deploying tools which provide visibility regarding demand and portfolio performance
  • Facilitate alignment / agreement across Divisions and Franchises as needed
  • Build best practice documentation and carry out training for users
  • Support demand planning communication forums
  • Support and organize demand planning community, analyse key areas of influence and change, propose next steps and solutions
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with Stryker Divisions and Franchises through strong communication and networking
  • Be first level support for Regions/Franchises for questions around demand planning tools and processes

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree level in Business or Supply Chain
  • Previous experience in Demand/Portfolio management, Logistics, Planning
  • Languages at least English but preferably a second language depending on global location
  • Project Management qualifications (preferred)
  • Lean Management qualifications (preferred
  • Excellent IT skills to be able to understand how today’s and future systems work
  • Excellent Microsoft skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
