Job Description

Position responsibilities:

  • Support customer facing presentations and data models to support business reviews, compliance and performance reporting, and any additional support needed for customer solution discussions.
  • Provide analysis of customer information, Stryker sales information, and historical pricing levels to our account managers and divisional sales leaders. 
  • Serve as a key process and system resource for Healthcare Systems including the development of templates, contract performance reporting and portfolio reporting metrics.
  • Participate as a member of the Healthcare Systems Strategic Pricing Team involved in responding to customer requests for pricing master data, pricing master files and data cleansing as it relates to their pricing across all divisions of Stryker Corporation.
  • Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers
  • Manager large GPO and IDN contracts to include maintaining pricing in ERP systems, documentation, and reporting as well as ensuring compliance to the terms of the agreement relative to fee payments and compliance monitoring of our customers. 
  • Support contracts and pricing for a $4billion segment of Stryker.
  • Provide historical trend analysis regarding customer pricing and spend
  • Retain responsibility for transactions within assigned IDN’s including determining the necessary action and executing as appropriate. 
  • Owner of process improvement projects that will drive efficiency amongst the team.
  • Work with assigned account managers to develop RFP documentation and pre-negotiation strategy to include pricing, rebates, and contract levers available
  • Provide recommendations and interpretations of the data or information provided in business analytics
  • Document and maintain process instructions that will assist in the training of new analysts.
  • Deliver necessary reports needed to measure performance of a contract, negotiate a new contract, analyze pricing or rebates, etc…that can support informed business decisions
  • Understand existing data models and assist in development of new data models. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing available tools to support reporting and analysis.
  • Respond to all ad hoc requests for data from the divisional business teams, and internal team members.
  • Support customer engagements, contract negotiations, and contract RFI/RFP processes
  • Engage customer as needed relative to inquiries surrounding reporting, data requests, contract pricing, etc.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing or related discipline.
  • 1 to 4 years accounting or data analysis experience, medical manufacturing/healthcare environment preferred or advanced degree.

Other Skills

  • Exceptional skills in applicable software programs (Excel, Access, basic ERP query)
  • Exceptional skills with data management, pivot tables, and advanced functions in Excel
  • J.D. Edwards advanced pricing
  • ERP systems experience (AS400, Oracle, JD Edwards)
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
  • Exceptional skills with data management, pivot tables, and advanced functions in Excel.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Experience working with business functions (e.g. sales, marketing, finance).
  • Ability to prioritize work and keep accurate, detailed, and confidential records.
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
  • Must be able to learn quickly.
  • Must be able to build interpersonal relationships across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced educational degree/ industry certification in the field of data/business analytics.
  • Experience in B2B sales and financial data analysis to solve business problems.
  • Experience in pricing or profitability analysis
