Job Description

Responsible for evaluating delinquent accounts and contacting the appropriate customers to bring to resolution. Responsible for researching opportunities for improvement and working toward implementation. Works with customers to identify invoice disputes or issues preventing payment and coordinate appropriate resolution in order to receive payment. Coordinates other problem resolution between internal and external customers. Maintains documentation on all collection activities and recommends accounts for external collections. Assists customers with terms to secure payments for past due accounts. Provides analysis of systems and procedures and makes recommendations for improvement.  May be responsible for the release of orders from credit hold.  Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications. Understand how to  review Purchase orders, the use of GPO’s, and how they impact price, freight, and credit terms.  May provide Proof of Deliveries, inovice copies, statements to customers upon request. Understands Revenue recognition and enforce correction when an error is found.  ,

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office tools required.  Strong data entry skills.  Strong analytical skills, problem solving and organization skills, as well as, ability to pay strong attention to detail.  Relevant experience required.   Works with minimal supervision.  Ability to maintain confidentiality.  Follows guidelines, able to research and resolve problems.  Ability to prioritize work, and to keep accurate, detailed and confidential records.  Excellent customer service skills.
