Job Overview

The Coordinator, Supply Chain provides critical supply chain analytical & logistical support to the Operations and Marketing teams during the product launch and consignment additions process.  They will assist with the development and publication of key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend/implement operational process improvements.  This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Operations team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.  

Responsibilities

Individual Responsibilities:

  • Proactively collaborates with internal teams/departments and the commercial team to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Marketing, Demand Planning and Operational teams as a cross-functional resource, supply chain subject matter expert and project manager for consigned deployments and customer conversions

  • Work with these teams to create consignment deployment plans for new product launch and track progress to plan
  • Enter Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) in the ERP for new consignment equipment and secure approvals in a timely manner
  • Reconcile CER’s with the Instrumentation Set forecast and communicate requested ship dates to align with the forecast
  • Work with Kitting to prioritize kit building activities on a weekly basis
  • Provide summary reporting on Purchasing, Kit Building and Kit Availability
  • Develop, maintain and report function-specific and portfolio-specific KPIs/metrics
  • Facilitate communication across teams by attending operations/IBP meetings
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, develop standard processes in the Capital Expenditure Request (CER) process and drive best practices across the corporation
  • Provide support to the Expired Replacement Request and Long-Term Consignment Returns processes
  • Provide in-depth instrumentation trend summaries on an ad-hoc basis
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Highly analytical and able to communicate story behind the data
  • Strong Excel and data mining skills.  Experience with ACCESS, SQL, Cognos, and Oracle will be an asset
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in forecasting
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • High level of professionalism with strong interpersonal skills

Education & Qualifications

  • University degree required (Business Finance, Accounting or Supply Chain an asset)
  • 1-2 years + experience in a similar role required
  • Team Leadership / Project Management experience an asset
  • APICS (CPIM) or other supply chain designation a strong asset
  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
