Job Description

Stryker Orthopaedics has an immediate opening for a Coordinator in support of Extremities sales training. Based in Mahwah, the Coordinator’s main focus will be to ensure the Senior Training Manager has all the resources and tools needed to successfully facilitate internal education courses. The Coordinator will handle booking venues, registrations, labs, and all catering for events as well as the ordering, invoicing, and preparation of supplies for employee training. This role works closely with Marketing and requires a responsible, solution oriented individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high capacity for learning. In addition, this role supports the administrative duties of two senior strategic sales development leaders. 
This role will Provide the full spectrum of administrative support to one or more departments/functions.
 

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Schedule meetings, secure facilities/equipment and prepare meeting materials both on and offsite
  • Ability to work independently and take an active team player role
  • Willingness to assist in various projects across teams and the Business Unit
  • Respond in a timely manner to routine departmental questions and respond to general internal/external customer requests
  • Plan and coordinate travel for team, where applicable.
  • Proofread and edit documents, providing accurate feedback on grammar & spelling
  • Process invoices and department expenses for approval; track and reconcile to departmental budget
  • Process all expense reports, as requested.
  • Generate, route and file required documents according to proscribed schedules and processes
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and initiate communication to keep team members compliant
  • Format, generate and route reports according to proscribed schedules
  • Assist in onboarding new team members
  • Present general departmental information in small meetings, where applicable
  • Build effective working partnership with members of the team, as well as, across teams in the Business Unit and company
  • Manage department orders for office supplies, as well as, inventory of promotional items and giveaways
  • Enter, administer and review systems data, as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience in an administrative position, with experience preferred in corporate environment and the specific department to be supported
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite technology, including complex document creation, spreadsheet creation and presentation creation.  Demonstrated proficiency in e-mail and calendaring systems, preferring Outlook proficiency.  Prefer demonstrated proficiency in departmental system navigation and report writing, where applicable.
