Job Description

Job Description: Develop, recommend, and execute communications plans relating to marketing strategies and act as an internal resource to support existing and new marketing programs within the business unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute patient education and marketing strategies that align with Joint Replacement division.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop, support, coordinate and execute patient marketing initiatives and communication activities.
  • Support patient seminars and other local activation strategies led by the Mako Market Development Team and sales organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement patient campaigns and marketing materials.
  • Develop appropriate communication and/or vehicle strategies. Prepare program materials needed for patient marketing activities.
  • Support supervisor and co-workers to evaluate communication metrics to determine existing penetration and evaluate new opportunities and strategies to increase reach
  • Develop relationships with product teams, field marketing teams, field sales representatives and internal creative agencies to drive collective initiatives
  • Uphold brand and communication standards for published and online materials to ensure consistent, look, feel and tonality

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field required
  • 0-2 years’ of experience in communications, marketing or a related field required
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team oriented environment
  • Demonstrated communications skills, including writing, editing, verbal (interpersonal) and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
