Job Description

Do you like to be “the one” who communicates accurate and timely information to the team?  This role supports over 2,000 of Stryker’s Sales Representatives within Joint Replacement, Trauma & Extremities and full-line sales teams across North America.  You are the hub that ensures information is presented clearly, timely and in an engaging way through multiple channels.  You will serve as the primary owner of our mobile communications application that optimizes the distribution of digital content. In addition, you will manage multiple projects, including semi-annual video content and sales force meetings.

What you will do:

  • Develop communication and/or vehicle strategies
  • Partner with key stakeholders to evaluate communication metrics to determine existing penetration and evaluate new opportunities and strategies to increase reach
  • Develop relationships with product teams, field marketing teams, field sales representatives and internal creative agency
  • Create and execute communications plans
  • Execute sales communication strategy including leading National Sales Meeting communications, introduction of new communication vehicles and support of sales leadership communications.
  • Manage editorial calendar and content for Sales Stream – the sales based communication app
  • Stay up to date with emerging channel trends and non-traditional channels, and leverage knowledge in communication recommendations
  • Manage operations and logistics of customer programs to ensure consistent communications, logistics and operations support across the division
  • Uphold brand and communication standards for published and online materials to ensure consistent, look, feel and tonality
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals for a variety of communications materials
  • Lead special projects

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Digital Marketing
  • 0-2 years professional work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team oriented environment
  • Exceptional communications skills, including writing, editing, verbal (interpersonal), digital and presentation skills
  • A customer-centric / solutions-oriented approach and the ability to serve a wide range of needs within the organization and at all levels
  • A highly responsive, responsible attitude

What we prefer:

  • 2-3 years of experience in communications or digital marketing role
  • Experience leading communications projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within defined deadlines
  • Familiarity with AP Style
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, including Word, Excel and PPT
  • Skilled in Adobe Experience Manager (AME) or other digital asset management platform
  • Skilled in Marketo or other like communication platform
