Job Description

"To operate the Comfort Bath production equipment in the converting of raw materials into finished packaged drug and cosmetic products.
  • Responsible for the quality and production value of an entire shifts production
  • Work from verbal and written instruction.
  • Notify Lead or technicians as appropriate of production or equipment problems
  • Maintain company policies, safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition
  • Maintain compliance specified quality and production reporting standards for documentation. (Including Quality Checks, PHR, SOP’s, Production reporting and other tasks as instructed by Lead)
  • Maintain all cGMP compliance initiatives for Manufacturing as required by Sage Regulatory Affairs/Compliance Officer.
  • Be able to perform the most current techniques on all manufacturing jobs.(essential)
  • Contribute to Sage culture and team efforts on an ongoing basis (essential)
  • Implement continuous improvement efforts to improve productivity (essential)
  • Set an example of professionalism for all of Manufacturing
  • Comply with regulatory and legal requirements of our industry and maintain proper thorough organized production documentation (essential)

  • Responsible for insuring Drug Compliance
  • Train employees on the operational procedures for the comfort bath equipment
  • Anticipate next production order and alert material handler as to what stock items will be needed
  • Set-up production stations, close and open lots in flex
  • Assign inventory
  • Participate in quality audits, both internal and external.
  • Count inventory and perform lot closure
  • Create plates and correct inventory discrepancies
  • Perform machine interface activities for line functions
  • Operate wrapping, unwind, labeling, cartooning and packing equipment
  • Visually and physically check product as appropriate for damage and defects at interval as direct on PHR
  • Verify all components against WIS/BOM
  • Visually and physically assure raw material have been released for production before using
  • Verify drug components being used in production with QA
  • Perform in-process quality inspections to insure product is being manufactured correctly and accurately per the controlled documentation
  • Perform equipment quality challenge inspections as required to insure that equipment is working properly.
  • PHR Documentations in flex or manually when required
  • Flex entries in the computer
  • Cleaning checklists when required
  • Yield solution reconciliation forms when required
  • Approval of the use of unreleased material forms when required
  • Training sign-off forms
  • Material Disposition forms (NCR) when required
  • Comfort bath use, cleaning, and maintenance log book entries
  • Reject sheets
  • Equipment challenge inspection checklist
  • Lifting and carrying parts and assemblies up to 70 lbs and manipulate material up to 110 lbs.
  • Standing, walking, sitting, lifting , carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, acute vision (far), acute vision (near), depth perception, field of vision, accommodation, color vision, functions.
