We are currently seeking a Cloud System Architect - Robotics located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

What you will do:

  • Actively lead collaborative initiatives on IoT platform architecture and business software cloud architecture evolution.
  • Design Technical/Integration Architectures, including operations architectures.
  • Develop cloud platform architecture guidelines and standards. Design technical integration Architectures, that includes global Stryker solutions and third-party solutions.
  • Lead the organization in developing, maintaining and governing of the data platform architecture by applying proven delivery methodologies such as Agile and Model-based techniques
  • Partner and collaborate with software architects in creating frameworks, patterns to standardize system development methodologies.
  • Work with business and cross technology teams to create solution for reusability, long term manageability, maintainability, integrate-ability, to reduce cost, technical debt and security risks.

What you need:

  • Bachelor ‘s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline. Master’s degree or higher preferred
  • 7+ years of experience with demonstrated technical competence in architecture, integration, and testing of complex software systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with public cloud-based software architecture using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of security architecture in a cloud-based software system is required.
  • High technical competency in API centric system integration and performance benchmarking.
  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps/Agile development environment is required. Higher experience level is preferred
  • Fluency in devOps technologies such as Dockers, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Artifactory is required
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and IEC 62304 is desired.

Travel Percentage: 10%
