We are looking to hire a Clinical Trials Operations manager whose aim will be to manage the image analysis services provided by the Clinical Trials group to ensure that both pharmaceutical and biotech client image data is collected, analysed, reported and stored to the highest standards. The operations manager also contributes to the Clinical Trials operations by managing the delivery of services to the group’s customers. This is a high-profile role that will require someone with a scientific or technical background and very strong operations management skills to ensure we work to our internal standards and timescales as well as complying with the relevant industry regulations. This role will also require you to be customer facing on a regular basis.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • Oversee the efficient operation of imaging trials to meet and exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the development of scientific and technical project strategy and project documentation
  • Oversee the company’s quality management system to provide a robust operational framework for operating clinical imaging trials
  • Oversee the company’s imaging workflow for studies
  • Contribute to scientific and technical development of image analysis technology for the prediction of novel imaging endpoints and improved service delivery
  • Apply industry best practices in the conduct of clinical trials and constantly improve Company SOPs.
  • Develop and maintain robust long-term customer relationships.
  • Have the highest level of ethical behavior to ensure that Stryker’s reputation in clinical research and business activities is never compromised thereby avoiding reputational, legal or financial risk.


  • Equivalent of a PhD in Medical Physics or Medical Imaging Science.
  • Fluency in English is essential.


  • 5 years minimum in clinical trials service provision is essential.
  • 5 years minimum in GCP governing the conduct of clinical trials is essential.
  • Experience in multinational clinical trials is essential.
  • Proven experience of achieving targets within a dynamic environment is essential.
  • Tenacious approach to continuous improvement with proven ability to implement improvements that deliver increased operational performance.
  • Proactive and driven approach is essential.
  • Experience in clinical imaging is an advantage.
  • Experience within an international organization with multiple relationships across different cultures is an advantage.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, decision-making and organizational skills are essential.
