Job Description

The Candidate Care Specialist will work with Recruiters to facilitate sourcing, interviewing and ultimately bringing diverse talent onto the Stryker team. The mission of the Candidate Care Specialist is to help ensure all Stryker candidates receive a positive recruiting experience regardless if an offer is extended. The scope of the position is support of recruiting efforts for Stryker’s U.S. based divisions.

  • Schedule on-site interviews for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Schedule travel for candidates on-site interviews.
  • Work with travel vendors to organize the candidate travel and stay.
  • Help control the costs associated with travel.
  • Manage candidate expenses including getting the expenses to the correct department.
  • Assist during on-site Candidate Care (ensure interview schedule followed, candidate feedback, onsite point of contact.)
  • Use company and process knowledge to manage candidates while on-site.
  • Will be the “face” of Stryker during the candidate’s on-site.
  • Will be responsible for correctly following the CCS and associated recruiting processes.
  • Work with new Candidate Care Specialists to train them to CCS standards.
  • Work with Recruiters to become well versed in the application of assessment tools.
  • May participate in interviewing training and techniques.
  • May attend and facilitate career fairs and general recruiting efforts for Campus Recruiting as required.
  • May have some recruiting opportunities for entry level or interns roles under recruiter guidance.
  • May need to develop a collaborating relationship with hiring managers to meet their staffing needs.
  • May need to participate in Strategy Session meetings with Recruiters to explain the CCS process.
  • May source, screen and interview candidates to fill currently open positions.
  • May evaluate, interpret and explain talent based selection tools with/for Hiring Managers during the recruiting process.
  • May participate in new hire orientation.

Job Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of office experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Must be able to manage time, projects, stress, and conflict.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills including oral and written communication.
  • Must be able to multitask and bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
