This role is responsible to support the Country Business Manager to manage Third-Party business management for NV distributor(s) in the designated country (either Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, or Indonesia), to support and ensure sales targets are met.  The role will need to build strong KOL relationships; support to develop in-depth understanding of the business, market & products and the ability to demonstrate strong commercial sense in a team environment. The role also serves as the interface between Stryker and the distributor(s), which will include sales, contract compliance, training and other marketing support activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

This position is part of the ASEAN commercial team reporting to the Country Business Manager based in South East Asia.

  • Maintain a close network of cooperative relationship with business partners, distributors and customers
  • Support the Business Manager to prepare regular analyses and reports on sales, products, customers, sales status, and competitors’ activities
  • Coordinate with distributors on the execution of sales and marketing plans and programs activities
  • Support, co-ordinate, & conduct sales training on products and selling techniques for distributors
  • Support Business Manager to communicate with ASEAN Regional Business Manager & marketing team on the development and execution of new product launches to ensure the distributor’s sales team is properly prepared upon completion.
  • Focus on building new accounts and developing new customers
  • Understand SYK’s country/regional/global marketing and sales network and support franchise marketing efforts
  • Understand SYK systems and processes to support franchise product development and management
  • Establish key relationships in cross-functional teams, other franchises and domestic sales
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
