Key Activities & Accountabilities  

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Daily and monthly sales reporting
  • Flash (Division P&L) consolidation
  • Gross Margin and Price Variance Analysis
  • Management Pack creation
  • Vexim inventory calculations
  • Headcount reporting and updates
  • Business KPIs tracking
  • Territory performance evaluation

The Business Controller will ensure accuracy and completeness of submissions while respecting all applicable deadlines.

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • IVS Europe internal planning calendar and review materials design and preparation
  • Budget, Projection A, b, c and SPR preparation, submission and validation
  • Strat Plan coordination and support
  • Fact based driver-based forecasting roll out (sales, margins and opex)
  • Risks and Opportunities monitoring

The Business Controller will own end to end forecast process for the business unit and coordinate with the business stakeholders to validate assumptions, while delivering financial plans of high quality and accuracy within designated timelines.

Business support

  • Business case development for sales and marketing initiatives (including ROI)
  • Sales awards and sales commissions support (set up and tracking)
  • Data quality resolution in collaboration with Sales Ops, FP&A, Master Data and HR Ops team
  • Integration requirements facilitation (Vexim and future acquisitions)
  • Demand planning contribution to minimize adverse financial impact
  • Data analytics, dashboards, and business intelligence generation to drive business improvements
  • Price reporting and analysis to drive harmonization and adoption with sales management
  • Business review presentation and weekly update support for IVS TOM and Europe leadership
  • Ad-hoc meaningful analysis in response to questions and requests by IVS Europe management, sales & marketing teams as well as IVS TOM and Europe Finance teams
  • Cross-functional partnership promotion with commercial, operations and corporate teams as needed
  • Europe IVS Finance Director back up as required


  • Communication and alignment with key stakeholders across the organization around critical deadlines and deliverables
  • Delivery of engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
  • Issue resolution and/ or escalation in a timely fashion
  • Understanding of how to communicate difficult/sensitive information effectively
  • Capability of explaining complicated financial information to non-finance audience

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Any other European language (especially French) is a plus
  • Strong excel skills; COGNOS, Power BI, Danube, Oracle systems, and HFM knowledge is a big plus
  • A professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA or FP&A) is a preference


  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in a finance function in a matrixed international company with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems and cross functional collaboration
