Associate Sourcing Manager

This is a management position that contributes and achieves results through others. The role is responsible for managing subordinates in professional jobs or managing through subordinate managers / supervisors or is a leader of process that achieves results through others, whom are not direct reports. The job requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own discipline in resolving issues as they arrive. The job has full management of a team, including management of people, defining roles and responsibilities, planning for the department's future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions or changes.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of strategic sourcing activities in assigned commodity in Europe for all supplier management issues related to International OEM Management within Stryker 

• Collaborate with a global team of supply chain professionals to drive supplier strategy and execution on quality, performance, cost reduction goals, risk assessment and contract negotiations.

• Support the development and implementation sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain through partnering with best in class suppliers.

• Participate and contribute to strategies / initiatives to support the International selling organization and to develop and establish the OEM finished goods business model and make sound decisions on supplier selection and business development direction 

What are we looking for?

This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 6 or more years’ experience.

• Strong analytical skills, ability to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills - able to express ideas and collaborate    effectively with multidisciplinary teams.   
• PC Literate ( Excel, Sharepoint).                                                

• Proven skill in Supplier and stakeholder negotiation  

• Strong Business & Financial Acumen.                                                                                            

• Excellent Communication and Influencing skills.  

• Solid understanding / knowledge of project Management tools is essential.                                                                                 
• Stakeholder Management Supply Chain and/or Medical Device quality certifications or training is desired. 

• Financial analysis and negotiation skills required.

• Strategic analysis skills required.

• Ability to effectively communicate and present information to suppliers, team members, team leaders, and senior management.

• Strong skills in leadership, networking, influencing, troubleshooting, problem solving and collaborative team building.
