Job Mission

An Associate Sales Representative is the entry-level position within our Sales Career Path. You are beginning or are in the early stages of developing your sales career and employing the process of selling which involves contacting potential customers, identifying their needs, persuading them that our Stryker products can best satisfy those needs; closing the sale by agreeing the terms and conditions; and providing after-sales service and support to include case cover in theater.

Stryker Citizen: Demonstrates outstanding ethics at all times. Treats customers and employees with respect, represents the company in the best possible light.

Knowledge: Communicates essential features and benefits of products and their clinical applications. Has no territory/target. Cover cases.

Customer Service: Acts with integrity and re-actively delivers on commitments within the required timescales.

Business Planning: Constructs a basic business plan with input from mentor/manager. Daily, weekly and monthly planning decided in partnership with mentor and RSM.

Sales Skills: Develops rapport. Understands the importance of relationships in selling. Using open questioning techniques to ascertain customer's needs and has good working knowledge of key brands to open opportunities for team to sell. Uses customer troubleshooting opportunities to grow and protect the business.

Commercial Awareness: Understands that there are multiple stakeholders in the decision making process and asks appropriate questions to identify the stakeholders.

Developing Others: Not applicable

Discretion/Latitude/Impact: Work is closely supervised and specific direction provided by more experienced staff. Keeps supervisor informed regularly on status of work. Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious affect on revenue or budget.

 Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English;
