What You Will Do

  • Lead teams to support products in the market to ensure high levels of quality and customer experience.  These teams are responsible for issue investigation, corrective action, preventive action, user needs assessment/validation, and risk management.
  • Plan, conduct and supervise assignments for your team.
  • Review progress and evaluate results.
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement activities.
  • Monitor and trend quality data. 
  • Establish appropriate targets in line with customer expectations, and closely track performance to established goals.
  • Manage a supervisor of a team of technicians who investigate complaints and returned products.
  • Collaborate to set priorities across functional departments.
  • Maintain and manage the departmental budget
  • Define targets, KPIs, and performance objectives for individuals on the team, and manage direct reports to meet or exceed these targets.
  • Recruit, select, and on-board top talent.
  • Develop talent within the team to increase performance.
  • Actively address performance issues on the team.
  • Maintain a high level of team engagement.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering or related field is required.
  • 4+ years of related experience is required.

What We Prefer

  • Advanced degree.
  • Proven leadership and demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating team members.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices associated with establishing and maintaining a Quality Systems determined by regulations and standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information.
