What you will do


Provide overall project direction as related to schedule, cost, performance, and resources.

Will develop project plans including:

        -Scope

        -Schedue / GANTT chart

        -Business Case / Capital Equipment Request

Will develop functional specifications that fully define project and product.

        -Cost

        -Performance criteria

Will develop and direct project team members

Will periodically provide progress report to other functional areas of the company affected by the project

Will monitor and control project

        -Timelines

        -Scope & Business Case

        -Resources

May provide development and guidance for assigned Co-op/Intern/Technician/Engineer.

May develop and conduct Co-op/Intern/Technician/Engineer performance appraisals.

May discuss career development planning for assigned Co-op/Intern/Technician/Engineer.


What you need

  • B.S. in mechanical, electrical or other related engineering discipline
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tool, inspection equipment, and common office equipment
  • Demonstrated technical problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated outstanding organizational, industry, and technical knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/facilitate problem solving teams
  • Demonstrated ability to apply Design for Manufacturability concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, track and facilitate projects using applicable tools (Gantt and Pert Charts etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to justify, procure and implement major capital equipment programs
  • Demonstrated skill in CAD
  • Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet database)
