Job Description

Individual Responsibilities:


  • Proactively collaborates with internal teams/departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation

Functional Responsibilities:


  • Manage marketing and sales promotions for specified product line, including brand development and management
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to develop a detailed, strategic and targeted plan for portfolio growth
  • Collect market intelligence and evaluate trends in assigned market segments to determine competitive threat or competing technologies,
  • Engage in regular field visits to support customer and sales rep education, ensure strategic execution, gather market intelligence and develop KOL relationships
  • Support product launches as needed including product phase in, phase out and product cycle maintenance
  • Assist in the preparation of RFP submissions with the RFP Coordinators
  • Establish productive business relationships with the International Marketing groups for instruments, specifically but not limited to the TOM geographies
  • Coordinate with the Operations group to continually improve the Customer Experience
  • Provide field sales support and support customer presentations and discussions, including conferences
  • Lead portfolio related product presentations and training sessions as needed at conferences, trade shows and other events

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
  • A fundamental knowledge of marketing
  • Appreciation for the “solution” approach to the sales complex medical equipment
  • A strong comfort level in clinical setting (operating rooms, hospitals, etc.)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to consistently produce accurate, professional work
  • Ability to travel (up to 60% of the time)
  • Self-started with the ability to show significant initiative in problem resolutions
  • High energy level with strong people skills and a positive attitude
  • Able to develop good rapport with internal stakeholders and external sales force
  • Strong presentation skills

Education & Qualifications

  • Must hold a University Degree (Preferably in Science or Business/Marketing)
  • Postgraduate experience and/or qualifications in Marketing or Sales an asset
  • Relevant experience in healthcare or affiliated field an asset
