Job Description

The Associate Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development of novel robotics applications to advance Stryker’s market leading Mako product line. Specifically, the candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to uncover unmet customer needs, define the product strategies and support the application development activities throughout the program’s lifecycle. This Associate Marketing Manager position offers a unique opportunity to impact an emerging technology and gain experience in the field of robotics and digital health. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Learn the responsibilities and duties of an Associate Marketing Manager through working in teams and one-on-one environments
  • Support team to develop brand and/or marketing strategies
  • Develop relationships with consulting surgeons and field sales management/sales representatives
  • Assist the product teams with the development of new and existing product programs
  • Support supervisor and co-workers to evaluate market trends to determine existing segment penetration or new segment opportunities and strategies relevant to assigned brands
  • Develop relationships with consulting surgeons and field sales management/ sales representatives
  • Participate in creating a strategic marketing plan

Qualifications and Work Experience Required

  • 2-3 years of experience in classical marketing or product management
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team orient environment
  • Demonstrated oral and written skills (both in groups and one-on-one interaction) as well as analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required

Travel Percentage: 20%
