What You Will Do:

Directly manages team of Technical Writers and Labeling Specialists to develop User Guides and required labeling for all Stryker Endoscopy products.  This includes working with project teams for new product development, post-market updates and international launches. Additional focus on continuous improvement of Technical Publications processes, procedures and development of labeling by staying up to date on regulations and User Guide/Labeling platforms.

  • Oversees proper projects completion and directs the daily activities for the Technical Publications Team. 

  • Directly manages team of Labeling Specialists and Technical Writers.

  • Analyzes departmental processes and recommends improvements.

  • Maintains and manages cost center for multiple teams

  • Will be involved with outside Inspection of the Quality System: FDA and Notified Body auditors

  • Has to maintain compliance to external regulatory standards such as UDI, EU MDR and EAR

  • Assists with the planning and implementation of new programs, services, and projects; monitors progress and evaluates results; recommends changes or other action as appropriate.

  • Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops Exempt & Non-Exempt staff; manages schedules and workflow.

  • Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.

  • Interacts and collaborates effectively with internal and external team members to assure needs of the company are met.

  • Assists in project planning; provides reports and updates as required.

  • Ensures timely completion of quality documentation for all products.

  • Ensures timely and accurate technical support is provided to internal and external customers.

  • Sets and modifies schedules/time cards to maintain adequate coverage.

  • Will submit periodic reports, both written and in person, to appropriate personnel.

  • Sets overall goals and priorities and evaluates subordinates performance based on those goals and priorities.

  • Coaches and develops personnel.

  • Is responsible for personnel compliance with company policies and corrective action.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
