What You Will Do

  • Supports business and cost center managers as a business partner, representing the finance function.
  • Prepares and interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of progress toward financial objectives in annual budgets, projections and strategic plans.
  • Consolidates, analyzes and tracks company operating budgets and exercises accounting control to ensure that expenditures so not exceed amounts budgeted.
  • Executes reporting annual budgets, projections and reporting of budgeted and actual financial results.
  • Partners with HR partner to execute the headcount strategy that supports the business unit growth strategy.
  • Prepares and interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the progress.
  • Manages and/or administers general accounting activities.
  • Is responsible for complying with Sarbanes-Oxley and all other applicable financial laws and regulations, company policies and corrective actions.
  • Will develop and recommend sales objectives, including quota, sales volume and profit forecasts
  • Will conduct analysis of market development, sales promotion, distribution and pricing guidelines
  • Will analyzes market trends and potential and prepare sales forecasts for use in planning manufacturing supply and for controlling inventories
  • Will act as an internal contact for Sales Leadership, product, sales systems, shipment management and IBP forecasting tools
  • Will manage sales exhibits and budgets for the business unit
  • Act as an IBP liaison providing unit & mix monthly forecasting management
  • Manage, coach and develop sales operations and finance personnel

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 6+ years experience required
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • Masters or FAR program preferred (or equivalent)
  • Intermediate understanding of business strategy, financial strategy, financial projections, reporting and consolidations preferred.
  • Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with high level business leaders in multiple functional areas.
  • Proven performance in both strategic and tactical financial support.
  • Ability to operate in a complex environment, leveraging internal and external partners to meet the needs of the business.
  • Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, conflict management and people management.
  • Must be able to bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and confidential records.
  • Must be able to communicate / present to large groups of people.

Work From Home: Remote

Travel Percentage: 10%
