The Role:

In this 12 month fixed term Associate Finance Manager role, you will act as our business advisor for all Stryker’s operations across the Australia and New Zealand region supporting Financial reporting, Financial Control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Tax.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the business with inventory accounting for Australia which includes month-end accounting, forecasting, reporting & analysis
  • Act as the conduit between Stryker APAC Finance Centre of Excellence and the SSP Business for inventory analysis and accounting.
  • Ensure business is operating in line with key controls to ensure accuracy of the inventory balance.
  • Act as the go to person locally in respect to accounting and operational processes of inventory within the business.
  • Provide training and education on Travel and Entertainment policies and Accounts Payable processes to provide greater autonomy and visibility to the business
  • Support the Financial Controller as required with financial reporting, financial controls, accounts payable and an internal audit
  • Produce monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting on expenses including Compliance Committee reporting to drive accountability
  • Support the Tax Manager in respect to managing and preparing the following: Income Tax, GST/BAS, FBT and Transfer Pricing

What You Will Need:

  • Proven ability to use initiative and drive to achieve results
  • Natural talent to influence and build relationships across an organisation
  • Aptitude and desire to master business systems and process
  • Advanced Excel and high proficiency with all other Microsoft Office applications
  • Completed or nearly completed professional certification in accounting, CA or CPA
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a focus on results
