Job Description

Repair and maintain Physio-Control and other equipment manufacturers’ products under close guidance and supervision. Must be able to perform on-site performance assurance and safety inspections on all products encountered. Also responsible for sales support, and maintaining good customer relations.


  • Provides efficient effective repair and inspection of Physio-Control equipment and equipment of designated partners of Physio-Control.
  • Manages assigned company assets, including spare parts inventory, service loaners, test equipment, computers and vehicle.
  • Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities necessary to support field service responsibilities. 
  • Performs administrative duties to include service reports, calendar (Outlook) management, and other responsible administrative activities. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


  • Applied science degree or equivalent, directly related experience with major emphasis in electronics or biomedical electronics, or the satisfactory completion of a certified technical training program in electronics, biomedical electronics or equivalent program.


  • Preferred 2 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of complex electronic or biomedical equipment or an equivalent educational background
  • Preferred 2 years’ experience in customer service role
  • Strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated communication and customer service competency
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook


  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
  • Be able to frequently travel 
  • Must provide 150 square ft of home for shop/office space
  • Frequently bends, stoops, twists, turns and works in positions using full body mobility
  • Rotate on-call status

Travel Percentage: Up to 75%
