Job Description

§  Capture, track, and report revenue and expenses; determine appropriate procedures for accounting record preparation, research of transactions and reporting. 

§  Working with BPO, oversee, reconcile and resolve problems relative to accounting entries requiring judgement

§  In depth knowledge of full balance sheet of small to medium sized entities.

§  Maintain and review accounting process controls, recommend and implement any approved modification as directed by management. 

§  Develop, recommend and implement new or revised policies and procedures for better controls and efficiencies. 

§  Participate in critical analysis of existing systems and processes, identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities

§  Develop and maintain desktop procedures and process documentation for Stryker processes.

§  Test, execute and document internal controls audit programs in accordance to SOX and Corporate policy

§  Working with BPO, perform accounting month end close procedures, run and analyse financial reports, prepare financial reports for submission to Corporate for consolidations

§  Participate as a member of a project team and contribute to change management strategy through communication and collaboration with others.

§  Contribute to projects in specialized Champion subject matter or legal entities; propose solutions

Serve as a liaison to local finance and BPO.
