Job Summary:

Responsible for the assembly of small and large parts for complex electromechanical equipment including, precision alignments. Responsible for completing required documentation and following appropriate procedures assigned. Must also have the ability to work in a team environment and have attention to detail. Helps to improve the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test small and large parts for electromechanical equipment, including precision alignments such as tilt & wag, lasers, tube & collimator and DMS.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electromechanical equipment machines, including PCBs, PCs, motors, lasers, belts, brakes, generators, batters, X-Ray tubes and actuators.
  • Complete required documentation with accurate information including routers, DHR’s, checklists and inspection reports.
  • Responsible for participating in continuous improvement efforts (i.e. Lean, 5S, Six Sigma) and providing suggestions or ideas.
  • Responsible for successfully and maintaining training as well as understanding and accurately following all procedures, policies and good manufacturing practices.
  • Can be counted on the meet or exceed performance expectations.
  • Works collaboratively with others to achieve business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge or experience with hand and power tools including torque wenches, screwdrivers, wire strippers, ratchets.
  • Knowledgeable of electrical devices including AC/DC voltages, Digital Multi-Meters and power supplies. Hi Pot equipment a plus.
  • Able to work as a team and train other employees.
  • Ability to identify and describe process problems to manufacturing engineering and peers.
  • Experience completing required documentation with accurate information including routers, DHR,’s, checklists and inspection reports preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet multiple and occasional competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with other employees and supervisor.
  • Ability to work in a highly detailed environment where mental focus and accuracy of work output is essential.
  • Ability to read English and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
