Job Description

Responsible for providing assembly, testing and facility support for all our production efforts. Assembly of fabricated parts and assemblies at work stations along with testing of final assemblis to meet tolerances and product specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to assembly / work instructions. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency. Works under minimal supervision, requires exercising some independent judgment and may be called upon to provide training to new employees.

  • Manufactures & tests the production of our HGS Robot systems and components:
  • Electro-mechanical components, assemblies, equipment and machinery such as precision encoders, motors, brakes, instruments, controls robots, machines, etc.
  • Performs a variety of complicated technical and non-technical tasks.
  • Identifies Quality & Safety improvements for the production team & overall company.
  • Will assist in the identification of improvements in our assembly instruction, work instruction, testing, quality inspection procedures and testing.
  • Upholds the quality policies of the company
  • All employees will be managed through a MFG training skill set which could include exams & yearly/bi-annual performance reviews.
Will be cross-trained over multiple assemblies with expectation of mastery of each and every assembly

Job Requirements

  • 1 year experience
  • Skill sets to include working knowledge of torque hand tools, soldering, crimping, ESD handling / knowledge, electrical circuit testing, transmission cabling, system testing & system troubleshooting.
  • Ability to solve problems by identifying relevant facts and key issues rapidly
  • Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings
  • Demonstrates the willingness and ability to adapt to technical requirements of assigned area
  • Required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
  • May be required to work on different ‘shifts’ depending on customer requirements.
