Job Description

As Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role supporting divisional senior management in their operational and strategic activities. You will enable them to optimise not only their own performance, but also that of the leadership team and broader business.

The Administration Assistant will be responsible for the following activities:

Coordination of travel arrangements and calendar management for Senior Management Assistance with management expense reports. Creation and distribution of communications to the site and division and various other internal/external audiences. Assistance with presentation and report creation; ensuring compliance with Stryker brand requirements.   Coordinating with other support staff as required Schedule developmental activities including site visits, CSR activities, team building and leadership offsite activities. Scheduling regular meetings and coordinating calendars with other administrative support staff, book venues and refreshments, assisting with distribution of meeting agendas. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Represent Stryker and the Leadership team when liaising with internal and external customers to organise conferences, meetings and large-scale events.

  • Qualifications:

Degree level would be preferable

  • Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in in an administrative role

  • System/Computer Requirements:

Basic Microsoft Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat

  • Key Competencies needed for this position
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, required
  • Ability to read and understand reports and able to select key metrics to include in reports and presentations
  • Strong working knowledge with word processing and computer database programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Must be proficient in filing systems, report writing, phone systems and corresponding with key contacts to include Executive Management
  • Able to keep information and documents confidential and operates discretely
