The Job’s Mission

Provides support to Finance department and Associate Accounting Manager for all Turkey Accounting - Payable task and deliverable to make sure processes flow smoother for Turkish entities and all numbers are in line with the required standards, on-time and for all Internal and external (governmental) stakeholders.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • Execute Account Payable process, review and approve local payments in accordance with Vendor and compliance policies.
  • Day-to-day functional responsibility for accounting areas such as expense reporting, account payable, expense accruals, inventories, fixed assets
  • Provide requirements timely for monthly bookings to be made with supporting documentation, like accruals, prepayments and depreciation
  • Preparing bank deposit and transfer information for payments including manual and online payments in line with local ERP system
  • Ensuring processing of all vendor invoices, timely responses to inadequate invoices or system issues
  • Monitor local vendor master file
  • Analysis of all relevant accounting and financial transactions and reports for business to ensure appropriately documented and supported;
  • Support customs declaration, tax return processes
  • Support business processes and non-financial employees
  • The Employee shall also fulfill and act on oral and/or written assignments, tasks, instructions and orders of his/her immediate supervisors, other competent officials and authorized representatives of the Employer, if necessitated by business requirements

Education

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Accounting
  • Minimum university or vocational school graduate
  • Knowledge related to MFG Pro system is required
  • Strong knowledge & demonstrable experience in accounts payable operations, documentations
  • International business environment experience is a must
