The Corporate Functions FP&A team provides finance partnership for the Global Corporate Functions. These include Global IT, Finance, Human Resources, Legal and Compliance, Communications, and Enterprise Projects (Accelerate, Finance One). As part of this team you will have the opportunity to interact regularly with Stryker leaders within Corporate and have great exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives.

What You Will Do
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the Corporate Functions FP&A team in financial planning and reporting. Regular responsibilities will include creation of standard and non-standard management reports, operational analysis, month-end activities, budget and projection processes, and enterprise project financial management. This position is highly visible, and daily interaction is expected with members of the global Stryker finance community and Corporate function leadership.

Perform financial analysis and provide key financial information in support of executive management decision making and strategy.

Lead budget and projection processes for assigned areas, working closely with business partners for the Global Corporate Functions to produce and communicate accurate financial plans.

Analyze and communicate monthly results, translating financial data into concise and actionable commentary.

Review output from the shared service accounting function during month-end close (e.g. P&L activity, CIP, journals and key balance sheet accounts) for GAAP compliance and prepare journal entries and ad hoc intercompany billing requests in support of executing an accurate and timely close process.

Provide modeling and analysis for initiatives (e.g. vendor contracts, cost efficiency plays, Capital Expenditure Requests).

Work collaboratively with enterprise and division/group finance teams to drive continuous improvement in finance functions.

Support ad hoc analysis as needed.

What You Need

Bachelor's degree required. Preferred concentration in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline

2+ years of previous financial planning and analysis experience or related financial analysis or accounting related experience is required

Proficient in MS Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint. Hyperion and SAP experience preferred.
