In this exciting Service Centre Engineer role, you will be working with a friendly and service-oriented team to diagnose, repair and test Stryker equipment to ensure our customers receive top quality products and service. This role will see you predominately based in our state of the art Service Centre in Auckland as well as give you the opportunity to provide field based support to Stryker customers across Auckland.

What You Will Do:

  • Be the first point of contact for all Technical Service related enquiries
  • Book and manage incoming repair work, communication and logistics
  • Repair, test and diagnose equipment within our state of the art Service Centre
  • Conduct quality inspections for all repaired equipment in accordance with work instructions
  • Provide technical support to Stryker customers onsite, completing reactive repairs and preventative maintenance to Stryker installed equipment.
  • Interact with customers over the telephone, providing troubleshooting support for equipment in the field

What You Will Need:

  • Trade qualification as an Electrical Service Technician or willingness to obtain one
  • Understanding of administrative and clerical processes including knowledge of invoice and electronic filing systems
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Ability to thrive in a high technology environment with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Highly developed customer service skills, including conflict resolution
  • Advanced communication skills and ability build rapport easily with people
  • Ability to learn new products and systems quickly
  • Experience operating basic power tools, mechanical or electrical machinery
  • Ability to be on-call (via phone) when required
