What you will do:

  • The Software Developer designs develop tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools, and utilities.
  • Determines systems software design requirements.
  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generates systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
  • This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgment in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of software designs and applications to meet market, customer, and system requirements
  • Analysis of customer requirements and synthesis of those requirements into appropriate and verifiable software designs and implementations
  • Estimate software development efforts
  • Assist with documentation requirements, design, code and tests for maintainability
  • Work with more senior developers to ensure code testability at the unit and integration levels
  • Assist with the designing and conducting software component qualifications
  • Participate in technical reviews

What you need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or other related disciplines
  • Experience with Java, SQL, web services, web/internet technologies, HTML 5, JavaScript frameworks is preferred
  • The ability to understand the industry and regulatory standards on patient data, HIPAA, ePHI, cybersecurity
