What you will do-

The roles purpose is to turn data into insight and analyze the implications to the franchise specifically around the performance KPIs, root cause analysis and recommendations in correcting KPI performance to the franchise team. This will involve the development of analytical tools to speed up diagnostics within the franchise and provide insight for both the DSE and ESR processes. The role will interface with Supply Planning, IBP management, finance, production scheduling and global process excellence.

  • Responsible for the creation of standard set of KPI reports and diagnostics on the root causes of performance and proposed mitigation / corrective actions needed to improve performance
  • Responsible for the creation of content in conjunction with the supply planner for the weekly demand and supply execution process to include back order status update and forward risks
  • Responsible for the creation of content for the monthly ESR process within the franchise in conjunction with the supply planner. To ensure review content is complete and has all key information for the management team to make decisions
  • Support current local tool development and maintenance such as capacity planning, safety stocks and MRP processes
  • Responsible for the creation of management reports within supply planning that support operationalizing of the core processes and provide insight to the planning team
  • Responsible for the creation of executive communication for weekly and monthly updates in supporting the Supply planning franchise lead to highlight key issues
  • Responsible for tracking the Phase in and Phase out status of the product portfolio, to support visibility and tracking of the ongoing status of products within the franchise
  • Responsible for the development of portfolio segmentation within supply planning to identify the product role and requirements such as how it should be treated from a planning, inventory and replenishment method
  • Responsible for the creation of inventory analysis, in regard to visibility and tracking of excess, obsolescence and deviations to control points
  • Responsible for the creation of project management tracking documents to act as support within the plant/franchise in tracking key improvement plans and activities
  • Capable of being able to work on capability building as part of a cross functional team and add expertise in creating optimal solutions
  • KPIs for the role will be Supply Plan Attainment, Safety Stock Health, Capacity Utilization, Back order and Lead time

What you need-

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree level in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain management/Economics/Statistics disciplines
  • Minimum of 3 years in a reporting or analytics role
  • IT Planning system experience to include use of SAP as a minimum requirement or equivalent ERP systems
  • Experience in using BI/Qlik-view/Tableau software packages
  • Experience in Microsoft office applications specifically PowerPoint and excellent skills in MS Excel
  • Preference of experience in an analytics practice within consulting or company analytics practice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing environment and/or the medical device industry
  • Understanding of end to end supply chain interactions and inter-dependencies
  • Knowledge of demand management/forecasting and supply/inventory planning tools and processes
  • International experience or experience working with plants and sales organizations located globally
  • Understanding of SQL language
  • Prior experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Business Objects Launchpad, Master Data Governance, Fiori, Ariba, S/4 Hana
  • APICS certification (or related)
