In this exciting Repair Centre Technician role, you will be working with a friendly and service-oriented team to diagnose, repair and test Stryker MedSurg equipment to ensure our customers receive top quality products.

What You Will Do:

As a Repair Centre Technician, you will:

  • Repair, test and diagnose equipment within the Stryker South Pacific Repair Centre
  • Safely manage and use basic hand, powered, mechanical and electrical tools
  • Conduct quality inspections for all repaired equipment in accordance with work instructions
  • Interact with customers over the telephone, providing troubleshooting support for equipment in the field
  • Independently engage with International colleagues to obtain information, when required
  • Participate in regular meetings and monthly presentations to the business, when required
  • Trouble shooting, and field engineering tasks required on occasion dependant on demand

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to thrive in a high technology environment with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Highly developed customer service skills, including conflict resolution
  • Advanced communication skills and ability build rapport easily with people
  • Ability to learn new products and systems quickly
  • Proven record of working to deadlines and under pressure
  • Experience operating basic power tools, mechanical or electrical machinery
  • Trade qualifications in Electrical or mechanical systems preferred
  • Tertiary qualifications in a Biomedical Engineering or a medical related field, preferred but not essential
  • Ability to be on-call (via phone) when required
