We are looking to hire a highly talented Product Manager to be part of our growing Joint Replacement (JR) business. In this role you will be 1 of 3 Product Managers looking after JR in the UK. Taking responsibility for our JR portfolio in the north of the UK you  will be responsible for local implementation of the international divisional strategy promoting products that improve patients’ lives. Demonstrating your ability to take initiatives and create longer term strategic plans, you will develop tactics, programmes and initiatives that drive growth in all JR Product groups in line with the franchise strategies.

In this role, you will work in matrix organization interacting with various stakeholders from different functions on both a local and regional level. You will play a critical role for supporting sales of Stryker products that are making healthcare better.

Your key responsibilities:

You will partner with the sales organization to support, influence, and execute our Joint Replacement (hip, knee, and Mako) commercial initiatives across the North of the UK.

  • Drive the execution of the annual marketing plan by gaining strong alignment with the sales organization and executing key tactics designed to hit our sales objectives.
  • Lead the planning and creation of the annual marketing plan aligned with the divisional strategies and expectations for the following year.
  • Build a commercial business partnership with the General Manager and Regional Sales Managers by establishing credibility and trust, and demonstrating value brought to growing the business.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all joint replacement product questions for the sales team in the north of the UK.
  • Meet with surgeon customers on a regular basis to develop relationships and move the sales process forward.
  • Lead the launch of new products as well as the phase out of legacy products
  • Responsible for creating an implant forecast by brand that aligns with the growth aspirations and portfolio strategy, in partnership with sales leadership.
  • Utilize data analysis paired with qualitative feedback from the market to identify customer targets, create plans, and track progress throughout the year.

What you need:

  • University degree (e.g. BSc. /B.A. in business with an emphasis in marketing preferable, life sciences, or health related discipline)
  • 3+ years sales/marketing experience (medical device related field is preferable)
  • Product knowledge and selling/marketing experience with Orthopedics products will be a strong plus. We are willing to consider highly engaged, motivated young professionals with passion, drive and the ability to learn & adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills required
  • Fluency in English is essential
