 Your key Responsibilities 

The Junior Financial Accountant performs responsibilities related to Intercompany activities and Cash Management. In your role you will be supporting one of our German manufacturing plants and work closely together with the Sr. Financial Accountant. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.  Note that responsibilities may be added or removed as deemed necessary based on the needs of the business.

  • Processing of Intercompany invoices, investigating and correcting variances
  • Preparing and executing monthly netting activities
  • Preparing monthly Intercompany reconciliations
  • Preparing monthly cash forecast and foreign currency reporting
  • Daily processing of bank statements 
  • Support Sr. Financial Accountant on Month end close activities
  • Preparing monthly Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Maintain and perform an effective system of Internal Controls (SOX) 
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Communicates with the different stakeholders to manage expectations
  • Drive continuous improvements

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum Bachelor/HBO in Accounting or equivalent certification
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in related Finance roles
  • Shared Service experience is preferred
  • Familiar with US-GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley Act
  • Strong excel skills
  • Experience with SAP, Blackline and HFM are preferred
  • Communication, able to effectively communicate on all levels within the company
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive
  • German basic, native Dutch is preferred
