The purpose of the Knowledge manager is to gather, develop, and efficient handle IS information within the organization/enterprise. Through efficient knowledge management process and procedure, the knowledge manager helps to increase the productivity of the business.

The focus of knowledge management is to ensure that the right information is available to the right people at the right time.  Knowledge management, also referred to as KM, ensures that organizations can learn and retrieve their knowledge assets when they are needed. Availability of current knowledge is beneficial and helps companies to maintain a competitive advantage.

Knowledge Management process lead

Create/update Knowledge Management SOP and support SOP-related audits

Maintain best practice knowledge management methodology

Interface with ServiceNow to lead/approve all KM-related changes and perform annual update testing

Introduce Knowledge ownership to service delivery managers and leads

Lead team of Knowledge Editors in ticket completion and editor coaching

Maintain coaching and quality process for knowledge team and SME editors

Ongoing process improvement activities

Servicenow Quality Assurance Testing

Create and maintain the QA process documentation

help the software development team to identify problems early in the process

Train and lead additional QA resources as needed

Process Lead/project lead

Identify areas of process improvement within the EUS space

Lead or assist with completing these process improvements (i.e. Onboarding)

Assist with EUS process planning related to ServiceNow enhancements

Education and special training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Administration or equivalent experience required
  • IT Service Management experience required
  • ITIL Foundations experience required
  • Servicenow Knowledge Management experience required
  • KCS Certification is a plus
  • Project Management Certification is a plus

Qualifications & experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience; Information Technology/Information Services is preferred
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., Life Sciences, Medical Device, Finance) a plus.
  • Experience with leading the successful implementation of complex programs.
  • Experience working with third-party providers
  • Experience driving change within an organization
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in liaising with middle and senior management

ideas effectively both in-person and remotely.

• Self-motivated, able to work effectively as part of a cross functional team to resolve business
