The Job's Mission

To manage events for the Nordics Franchise. This encompasses the entire operational processes related to Events, ensuring a “Best in Class” service is created and maintained through implementing solutions to further develop, maintain and improve Franchise/HCP satisfaction, maximise cost efficiency’s particularly around Flights & logistics and ensure adherence throughout the changing compliance regulations.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • Adhere to the Franchise and Compliance Events strategy. To be involved with a detailed review of all processes, procedures, methods and tools to determine adequacy to meet the performance objectives of the department.
  • Ensuring all KPI’s such as Travel Booking Timelines, Faculty Payments, Contract Monitoring, Amex Reconciliation and ensure metrics are monitored effectively and achieved.
  • Take responsibility for Franchise operational and cost management with the expectation of driving cost down within flight bookings and a strong focus on event timelines to increase the overall the initial notification to event date to ensure sufficient time to ensure sufficient time for Legal and Compliance review. 
  • katAssist in maintaining a culture of continuous improvement of service provided to our customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other Functions while driving leverage opportunities across the areas.
  • Play an active role in the European Events team as we strive to implement a world class Events Logistics and HCP Support service. 
  • Ensures all Compliance, SOX, FCPA and Quality policies are implemented and applied in your Franchise.
  • Deal directly with sales force / product managers in relation to Franchise Event Reviews on a regular basis.
  • The Events Coordinator will liaise with all the major functions of the business such as the Franchise, Compliance, Finance to achieve key activities on a local, pan-European and / or cross-divisional level.
  • You will be responsible for the entire Events coordination within your given Franchise
  • The job will be measured on Operational and Financial KPIs, as mentioned above for example travel cost reduction Initiatives, budget management, op income, and process and productivity improvements.


Project Management would be desirable

Fluency in English is essential, preferably combined with a local language

Desirable Experience

3-5 years’ experience in Nordics HCP Events organization including customer facing experience.

Working knowledge of Nordics and MedTech Europe Compliance guidelines.

Experience in the Medical or Pharmaceutical industry would be desirable

this role has a flexible working location either Stryker office in Sweden (Malmö) or Finland
