Stryker is implementing a transformative program focused on optimizing the Finance function to support business growth and functional scalability while also empowering our Finance talent to focus increasingly on value-added work.

The Director, Financial Reporting role is integral in achieving the Finance program’s vision. This person will be responsible for actively working with leadership to develop and execute on key strategies for achieving long term program objectives. He/she will also lead strategic initiatives and provide subject matter expertise and industry best practices related to Finance management reporting transformation.

The focus of this role is to develop, implement and optimize business processes and data solutions to deploy meaningful management reporting across the organization. The role actively participates in long-term management reporting, strategy planning, and KPI identification and ensures the underlying datasets are in place to address complex business needs. This involves understanding business needs, working with other teams and providing the views management needs to manage day-to-day complexities. The Director, Financial Reporting will leverage his/her in-depth knowledge of financial management reporting, while also collecting and incorporating views of other SME’s and stakeholders to align requirements to business processes.

The deployment of global management reporting processes and supporting technology will be a multi-year effort consisting of design, build and a phased deployment in coordination with Stryker’s ERP strategy.  Following a successful build, this role will support ongoing phased implementations and will transition over time to leading run state processes and governance in the Dallas COE.  This role will have high visibility to the global Finance organization and its leadership, while also offering a strong developmental opportunity.
