What you will do

The Associate Test Engineering Manager coordinates and manages the planning, implementation, and maintenance of Test Engineering methods, processes, tools, and procedures used in the manufacture and verification of manufactured devices at Stryker Emergency Care. 

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Coach, develop and manage team of Test Engineers
  • Set overall group goals and priorities and evaluate performance of team members based on those goals/priorities
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of Test Engineering processes and methodologies by driving standardization of work output and deploying best practices and tools
  • Provide and coordinate technical support and manufacturing issue resolution
  • Aid in test system development process by ensuring the identification of design for testability and providing design recommendations as appropriate
  • May assist vendors in resolving manufacturing and quality-related issues

What you need

  • B.S degree in an Engineering or other relevant technical discipline
  • Minimum of 6 years of Test Engineering experience in a manufacturing/test environment, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience or leading engineering project teams
  • Knowledge of modern product development and project engineering principles, methods and practices
  • Demonstrated communication (written & verbal), presentation, partnership and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with problem solving and process improvement orientation and knowledge of Lean tools (i.e.: Six Sigma)
