The Division

Stryker’s Neurovascular division is focused on advancing the practice of less invasive stroke therapies through its Complete Stroke Care solutions. The business is dedicated to providing innovative stroke products and services for ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, and committed to providing clinical education and support to help physicians deliver better patient outcomes. What you will do

  • Join a dynamic, growing team focused on developing best-in-class products for aneurysm treatment. The role offers the opportunity to work on resume –defining, novel, complex PMA pathway product lines that can make a difference to people’s lives.

  • Technical leader: Sets technical direction and leads teams to scalable, innovative engineering solutions
  • Purposeful innovator: Partner closely with our physician customers to make ensure our solution meet their needs.
  • Complex problem solver: Use advanced engineering expertise in conjunction with internal/external experts to proactively identify and tackle complex problems
  • Influencer: Partner with multiple functions (Pre-Clinical, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Operations, Regulatory) to drive product development that is laser-focused on our customer needs.
  • Mentor: Train and/or provide work direction to technicians and entry-level engineers.
  • End to end product development exposure: Drive programs through early stage needs finding, concept development, product development within design control, manufacturing transfer, commercial launch and clinical trial support

What you need

  • B.S. degree in engineering or applicable technical field (mechanical, materials or biomedical preferred) (M.S./PhD in Engineering or related field preferred)
  • 4+ years’ of medical device design and development experience, advanced degree may be considered towards years of experience
  • Proven track record of collaborating with others to develop best-in-class medical technologies
