What you will do-

The Senior Supply Planner will turn data into insight and analyze the implications to the franchise specifically around the performance KPIs, root cause analysis and recommendations in correcting KPI performance. This will involve the development of analytical tools to speed up diagnostics within the franchise and provide insight for both the DSE (demand and supply execution) and ESR (executive supply review) processes. The role will interface with Supply Planning, IBP (integrated business planning) management, finance, production scheduling and global process excellence.

  • Create standard set of KPI reports and diagnostics on the root causes of performance and proposed mitigation / corrective actions needed to improve performance
  • Develop content in conjunction with the supply planner for the weekly demand and supply execution process to include back order status update and forward risks
  • Create content for the monthly ESR process within the franchise in conjunction with the supply planner
  • Ensure review content is complete and has all key information for the management team to make decisions
  • Support current local tool development and maintenance such as capacity planning, safety stocks and MRP processes
  • Develop management reports within supply planning that support operationalizing of the core processes and provide insight to the planning team
  • Create executive communication for weekly and monthly updates in supporting the Supply planning franchise lead to highlight key issues
  • Track the Phase in and Phase out status of the product portfolio, to support visibility and tracking of the ongoing status of products within the franchise
  • Develop portfolio segmentation within supply planning to identify the product role and requirements such as how it should be treated from a planning, inventory and replenishment method
  • Create inventory analysis, in regard to visibility and tracking of excess, obsolescence and deviations to control points
  • Develop project management tracking documents to act as support within the plant/franchise in tracking key improvement plans and activities
  • Work on capability building as part of a cross functional team and add expertise in creating optimal solutions

What you need-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain management/Economics/Statistics disciplines required
  • Minimum of 3 years in a reporting or analytics role
  • IT Planning system experience to include use of SAP as a minimum requirement or equivalent ERP systems
  • Experience in using BI/Qlik-view/Tableau software packages
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel strongly preferred
  • Preference of experience in an analytics practice within consulting or company analytics practice
