We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Test Engineer located near Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

What You Will Do

  • You will design and perform unique experiments as requested, evaluate and confirm test data accuracy and generate formal verbal and/or written reports on the findings.
  • You will extract and process data/findings into formal written and verbal reports which comply with FDA requirements.
  • You will work with Metrology equipment; CMM, Articulate Arm, Laser scanners and trackers, Tensile/compression and fatigue Testers.
  • You will work with equipment suppliers.
  • You will use your ability to work in a dynamic team environment to think outside the box and solve complex problems.
  • You will use your electro-mechanical background and ability to innovate to design and assemble test fixtures.


What You Need

  • 2+ years of experience related to this job description required
  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, software, bio-medical or related is required.
  • Thorough understanding of all test fundamentals, test management tools, and defect tracking tools.
  • Scripting knowledge of Matlab, Tcl/Tk, Python, or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience in sustaining engineering for an existing product preferred.
  • Experience in tool release preferred.
  • Hands on experience with Machine shop tools: Lathe, Milling machine, CNC, etc.
  • Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in statistical data analysis and reports.
