WHAT YOU WILL DO:

This position is accountable for providing leadership, management and oversight of the Human Resources service delivery function for the Americas including the strategy, staffing, design, service orientation, measurement and continuous improvement. This role collaborates closely with various parties to understand business needs and strategic priorities in order to ensure HR service delivery capabilities are effectively and efficiently leveraged.

  • Work with the Global HR Operations (myHR) Leaders to define the myHR strategy and delivery and to ensure the successful transformation of the myHR landscape to a market leading model in alignment with the business and in collaboration with other functions (e.g. Finance, Total Rewards, HRBP, IS)
  • Lead team responsible for delivery of HR Shared Services in the Americas.  This includes, but is not limited to responsibility for US client services, employee transactions, work force administration, benefits administration, reporting, and analytics.
  • Understand business needs and priorities and uses that information to set priorities and expectations for the Americas myHR Team.
  • Provides strategic cross-culturally competent direction to the delivery of HR delivery resources across all areas of responsibility within myHR (e.g. Transaction Management, Time & Attendance, Service Center, Benefits, Payroll and Leaves Administration).
  • Act as a liaison with local HR, the myHR organization and Centers of Expertise (COEs) to improve processes by focusing on the needs of the customer and optimizing existing activities to ensure optimal service for employees and managers
  • Require, reinforce and personally reflect a cross-culturally competent customer service focus
  • Oversee the establishment of mutually beneficial Service Level Agreements (SLAs), aligns resources to achieve them, and ensures team meets all SLAs and other performance measures
  • Focus the myHR organization to deliver a simpler employee experience and better manager experience while enabling HR Business Partners to fulfill their designated strategic roles
  • Lead team responsible for acquisition integration and divestiture planning for all HR   shared service related areas for the Americas.  Identify and communicate system intersections with other functional areas (i.e. HRBP, Total Rewards) and escalate findings from due diligence or integration checklists to work towards systems resolution
  • Coordinate with HR Systems team and other myHR employees on long term design impacts relating to HR Systems strategy and support/delivery of this strategy.
  • Partner with business and HR leaders within the Americas to leverage the HR service delivery capabilities to their fullest potential
  • Anticipate future service delivery needs based on changes in the business
  • Embody and instill a mind-set of continuous process improvement in the regional service delivery organization
  • Motivate resources to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations in the most efficient and effective manner possible
  • Understand customer needs while managing expectations to achieve balanced business objectives
  • Actively seek and understand feedback as well as develop action plans to address input
  • Develop and maintain and foster collaborative partnerships with business based HR, COEs, and other teams within myHR
  • Manage resources within the Americas myHR team to achieve both cost and service objectives
  • Responsible for the coaching, development, performance management and engagement of team.
  • Ensure that critical information, trends, strategies, and results (KPIs) are communicated effectively and timely including performance to objectives and identification of areas of opportunity.
  • Implement changes to HR processes and systems that increase customer satisfaction and HR efficiency/effectiveness

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • B.A. or B.S from accredited university.
  • Advanced Degree preferred.
  • SPHR/PHR preferred
  • Lean Management / Six Sigma preferred
  • 10+ Years of progressive experience in (preferably HR) Shared Services or Human Resource function
  • Strong people management experience
  • Experience in an Operational Leadership role preferred
  • Experience with Workday and Case Management platforms preferred
  • Experience in managing a range of operational services to a large and dispersed employee population
  • Significant experience working within the assigned geographic region with experience working across multiple geographic regions
  • Experience in HR system data management preferred
  • Strong analytical, operational, problem-solving and conceptual skills with experience in organizing, planning, and executive large-scale projects from the envisioning stage through to implementation
  • Effective leadership skills that can energize multi-disciplined work teams to respond to business needs
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes preferred
  • Effectively communicate processes, status, decisions and recommendations at all levels of the organization.
  • Must thrive in an environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
  • Foster a collaborative environment ensuring alignment between the quality assurance team and other Hr Operations teams, business based HR and COEs on key processes, HR projects and governance decisions
  • Ability to promote continuous improvement and implement changes to current practices and processes
  • Strong execution capabilities with ability to embrace new challenges and lead/manage large projects with focus on operational excellence
  • Strong process orientation and problem solving skills
