  • Promotes Stryker Medical products to doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel while providing excellent customer service and developing the customer relationship 
  • Following extensive product training, the candidate must be able to tailor Stryker’s promotional message based upon knowledge of the customer, advise on appropriate product selection, answer customer questions about product functionality and distinguish Stryker products from those of Stryker’s competitors 
  • Educates and informs Healthcare Professional regarding the proper use and maintenance of specified Stryker Medical Products, product functionality and updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs 
  • Develops product line expertise in Stryker Medical Temperature Management products. 
  • Responsible for meeting targeted annual budgeted objectives for Temperature Management within an assigned geography 
  • Drives EUA (Equipment Usage Agreement) compliance with customers 
  • Assists or leads hospital equipment surveys 
  • Assists in post-sale implementation and training for all Stryker Medical products to ensure customer adoption of and satisfaction with Stryker Medical products 
  • Focuses on customer satisfaction by demonstrated teamwork and empowerment 
  • Independently solves customer issues using a consultative approach, operating with honesty and integrity 
  • Provides a highly responsive and unsurpassed level of customer service 
  • Utilizes proper software and technological tools to maintain proper records 
  • May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings  
  • Keeps Account Managers and Regional Manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis 
  • Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion 
  • Must understand and adhere to all facility protocols and pertinent OSHA guidelines when conducting a product evaluation 
  • Must adhere rigidly to all GMP policies and procedures as stipulated by the FDA, AdvaMed, and other governing bodies
  • BA or BS Required  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • General sales experience preferred 
  • Must be PC literate. Experience working with Microsoft Office 
  • Work hours may vary depending upon the needs of the customers 
  • Must possess excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment effectively. 
  • Strong inter-personal communication skills specifically relating to stress management, people management,  
  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects 
  • Must be able to communicate with large groups of people 
  • Must be able to communicate telephonically 
  • Must be able to use common office equipment (e.g. fax, modem, calculator, PC, etc.) 
  • Must be able to drive an automobile
