What you will do

As a Program Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of robotics development programs on our next generation products. You will get an opportunity to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced new product development environment from product inception to commercialization. As leader of a team, you will interface with cross functional team members both on a local and global scale.

Some key responsibilities include:

•Define program scope within constraints provided by higher level management and support coordinating the scope definition in cooperation with Marketing and other functions outside of R&D•Plan and drive program execution from early concept phase to commercialization•Work closely with Marketing to ensure congruence between chartered programs and needs and priorities of the division •Partner with Functional Leaders to develop and manage all program resource allocations•Track progress to approved plans and communicates program status to R&D Leadership•Ensure compliance to Quality management system, design control processes and industry standards•Maintain necessary credentials to attend operating room and/or cadaver labs

What you need

  • B.S. in a technical discipline such as Biomedical Engineering . M.S. preferred
  • Formal Program Management training. PMP preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in product design and research in the medical device industry (or other specifically relevant industry)
  • 2+ years of experience in program management in a cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading people in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product development initiatives that require greater than 15 full-time resources than span outside of R&D from concept through design transfer
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with strong written, verbal, interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills
