The talented Product Specialist Medical promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers.

We are recruiting for a talent living in or around Rome or around Venice, Bologna to Florence. Living within this area is crucial to be successful in this role.

The Product Specialist Medical, who is fluently in both Italian and English informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices. Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.

This talent will use judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision and has a professional mastery of this specialized field for Stryker Medical. The Product Specialist Medical has analytical skills as well as evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations and a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 6 or more years’ experience.

The very drive Product Specialist is responsible for setting up, rolling out and managing the business for a specifically designated product or grouping of products in a designated area. The Product Specialist Medical is responsible for supporting agents and distributors in the sales of the designated product or grouping of products (Medical Pre- Hospital for Stryker and Physio products and Hospital for Physio Products). The Product Specialist will provide customer support and teamwork with regional franchise, particularly through partnership with the sales force in the field.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • You will hit sales targets and maintain profitability and map the execution of the sales strategy and create new sales opportunity
  • You will support planning, execute and monitor all measures necessary to guarantee achievement of regional sales budget of all products
  • You will be responsible support the SOP and contract process with the guidance of the NSM.
  • You will organization and conduction of training.
  • You will identification of local KOLs, proposition of local action plans
  • You will coordination of the distribution and logistics of products with the support of the related manager.
  • You will regular reporting to Sales Managers, of the development of sales, and adaptation to the circumstances of the market
  • You will accomplishment of Sales Actions and control of hospital management
  • You maintain market share and customer satisfaction of our existing customers within the assigned territory/customers
  • You will support the organization of local event for education, targeting new stakeholder and NCS
  • You manage and organize training for sales force and coordinate agents activity when required

Education and experience:

  • Preferably training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences, economics or the like
  • You have a strong knowledge of the range of products and their surgical techniques
  • Bachelor level with relevant background in this industry combined with technical understanding of this product group for Stryker medical
  • Knowledge of Tender Sales within Italy
  • You are self-driven, self-starting and able to communicate on different management levels, you have a well and natural way of stakeholder management
