Job Description: The Medical Education Associate supports the Medical Education and Marketing teams by planning and executing educational events, Stryker product training, sales training, and third party educational conferences, grants and donations within a defined budget. Will perform all activity in accordance with Stryker compliance standards, Advamed Code, and all national and state regulations.

  • Coordinate scheduling, servicing, testing, packing, shipment and receipt of equipment for trade shows, labs and educational events.  Coordinate with Med Ed managers, marketing managers, , marketing associates, regional sales managers, sales force and cross divisionally as needed.
  • Assist Med Ed team as needed with paperwork and processes to fulfill compliance and committee requirements for educational / grant and donations program requirements.
  • Order disposable products for shows, labs, and educational events, maintain inventory and forecasting.
  • Maintain marketing sample physical inventory within budget, with regular reporting.
  • Assist in executing regional and national trade shows and educational events.
  • Assist and execute educational courses and hands on product training events.
  • Collaborate with Med Ed and product managers to determine required products and logistics for all events.
  • Travel to educational events and regional shows and exhibits as needed.
  • Coordinate with product teams to execute sales force education events and meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 0-2 years relevant experience required.
  • Basic understanding of event coordination, trade shows, marketing and medical education preferred
  • Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise.
  • Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.
  • Must be able to bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and confidential records.
  • Must be able to communicate / present to large groups of people.
