Meet and exceeding sales objectives for a specifically defined regional and national Key Accounts across the US, including IDNs, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Teaching Institutions, and Government Accounts.  Build and maintain effective business relationships and develop and implement sales strategies that result in increased sales in regional and national Key Accounts across the US. 

Represent Stryker as an industry/market leader by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals to drive Mako breakthrough technology.

  • Develops and maintains outstanding relationships, leveraging internal and external relationships to drive utilization at each targeted Key Account; targeted accounts include IDNs, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Teaching Institutions, and Government Accounts
  • Collaborates with internal and external resources establishing key account strategies to improve utilization and achieve account targets.
  • Establishes key Mako program cross functional team both internal and external to improve and increase knee and hip utilization at designated key accts.
  • Project manages key account and Mako activities to increase all robotic arm assisted surgery.
  • Understanding of how to sell Mako breakthrough technology to hospital executives and surgeons. Strong executive presence and presentation skills.
  • Must be effective in partnering with marketing, sales management, AE and MPS teams to build the strategies that will further support increased account utilization.
  • Excellent communication and team building skills.
  • Travel to support Mako reps on site at key accounts.
  • Travel to support Mako at key account meetings with executives.
  • Collaborate with key partners quarterly or as needed to communicate account procedural and volume updates.
  • Provide additional corporate support to Directors of Sales and Key Accounts as needed.
     

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, pre-med or other relevant field of study.  Or 5+ years of relevant professional work experience, including direct sales
  • 5+ years experience in sales - direct selling experience. Prefer Orthopaedics/Medical Device field
  • Prefer medical capital sales experience
  • Applied knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.  This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Demonstrated presentation and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Prefer demonstrated ability selling to Key Accounts, including Integrated Delivery Networks, Teaching Institutions, and/or Surgery Centers
  • Knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MS Office Suite, databases, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability building and maintaining professional relationships; prefer existing surgeons & hospitals relationships in assigned areas/territory
